Safety guide for clients
What to check on the profile, what to agree on beforehand and the scams that show up most. No lecture: just what saves you money and misunderstandings, especially the first time.
The essentials
- Check the Verified badge and compare the photos with the comparison video.
- Agree on price, time and place beforehand, in writing, through the profile contact.
- A deposit only if it is in the profile’s Policies, for the amount written there. Otherwise, nothing upfront.
- The site charges clients no fee: anyone asking for one in our name is running a scam.
- A "no" ends it, on both sides.
- Saw something wrong? Report it. You do not need to identify yourself.
How to tell the profile is real
Each badge on a profile means something different. Only Featured is paid, and it is about visibility, not verification.
-
Verified
For those who signed up here to advertise, it means the person sent an official ID and recorded a liveness check, a short video matched against the face on the document. The date of birth has to prove she is of age.
-
Verified photo
Shown on the photo itself: it was checked against the advertiser’s verified identity. A photo without it is not fake, it just was not checked.
-
Comparison video
A short clip the advertiser records live in the app, with no file upload, with the badge and the profile address burned into the image. It is renewed every 3 months. If you are unsure the photos are hers, compare.
-
Reviews
Written by clients with an account, shown with the name abbreviated. Look at how many there are and how recent, not just the score.
-
Silver and Gold
The site’s reputation badges. They cannot be bought: no plan or boost gives a badge.
-
Featured
A boosted ad: the advertiser paid for visibility. It does not mean she was verified or reviewed, so check the other badges.
-
Available now and Available today
They come from the schedule the advertiser set herself, in Brasília time: "Available now" means she is within her hours right now, "Available today" means she still works today, now or later. Confirm with her before you head out.
Agree on everything first
Almost every problem comes from something left unsaid. Before you leave home, make these clear, in writing, through the contact shown on the profile:
- Price, and what it includes.
- Time: when it starts counting and what happens if it runs over.
- Place: hers, a hotel, a motel or your address. If it is a hotel, who books it.
- Payment: cash, Pix (Brazil’s instant bank transfer) or card, and when.
- Services: what she does and what she does not. The ad lists them, but confirm.
- Protection: condoms are agreed beforehand, not negotiated on the spot.
On the day, confirm time and address with the same person, on the same number. If the deal changes at the last minute, either of you can call it off.
Payment and deposits: only what the profile says
The site charges clients nothing to set up a meeting and does not handle payment: the arrangement is directly with the advertiser. Pay her the way you agreed.
Some advertisers ask for a deposit to hold the slot. Those who do state it on the profile, under Policies: how much, how, and what happens if someone cancels. If the request matches what is written there and came through the profile contact, it is your call.
A Pix request that is not in the Policies, an amount different from the one written, pressure, or a second request after the first ("pay for the ride", "unlock the address") is how the most common scam starts. When in doubt, and especially the first time, do not pay upfront and look for another profile.
Common scams in Brazil
They almost always follow the same script: urgency, money first and a conversation that moves away from the profile contact.
-
Fake deposit over Pix
Someone asks for a Pix transfer to book the slot, cover travel or send the address. After the first one comes another request, or the person disappears.
What to do: check that the deposit is in the profile’s Policies, for the amount written there. If it is not, or another request follows, do not pay and look for another profile.
-
"Security fee" or "registration fee"
A message says you have to pay a fee to the site, to an "agency" or to a "security desk" before the meeting, sometimes with a screenshot faking our page. The site charges clients no fee, not to book and not to unlock a contact.
What to do: do not pay, keep the screenshot and report the profile.
-
Cloned profile
The photos belong to a real advertiser, but someone else answers, on a different number. Sometimes the scammer even sends the link to the real profile to look trustworthy.
What to do: talk only through the contact shown on the profile, here on the site. Compare the photos with the comparison video and report it if they do not match.
Respect, consent and age
The deal stands, and either of you can say no at any moment, including halfway through. A no ends it, without pushing.
Discretion goes both ways: do not take photos or record without agreeing first, and do not pass on her messages, photos or details.
Whoever signs up here to advertise proves she is of age with an ID. If something still suggests the person may be underage, stop: end it and report it. Reports involving minors get top priority and may be passed on to the authorities.
And for yourself: tell someone you trust where you will be and carry only what you need.
If something goes wrong
Every profile has a "Report profile" button right below the contact options, with reasons such as scam, fake profile and suspected minor, and every photo opened full screen has a "Report this photo" button. In a conversation on the platform, "Report" is in the conversation itself. For anything else, use the report page or write to denuncias@acompanhantesonline.com. You do not need to identify yourself, and every report is read by a person on the team.
If you paid over Pix and got scammed, call your bank as soon as possible and ask for a refund through MED, the Pix fraud refund mechanism. Keep the conversations, numbers and receipts and file a police report: most Brazilian states let you do it online.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the site charge clients any fee?
- Not to book a meeting or to see a contact. Anyone asking for a "security fee", "registration fee" or "release fee" in the site’s name is trying to scam you. Anything you pay the site, such as premium content, is optional and done inside your account, never over a message.
- Can I pay a deposit to hold the slot?
- Only if the profile says, under Policies, that she asks for one, for the amount and in the way written there, agreed through the profile contact. A deposit that is not on the profile, or a second request after the first, is the fake deposit scam.
- How do I know I am talking to the person in the ad?
- Use the contact shown on the profile, here on the site, and be suspicious if the conversation moves to another number. Compare the photos with the comparison video when the profile has one, and check for the verified photo badge.
- I paid over Pix and the person vanished. Can I get it back?
- Sometimes. Call your bank as soon as possible and ask for a refund through MED, Pix’s special refund mechanism. Then file a police report and report the profile here.
- What does "Available today" mean?
- That, by the schedule the advertiser set, she still works today, now or later, in Brasília time. "Available now" means this is within her hours. Always confirm with her before you head out.
